The “Well Done, Well Being” volunteering project in High Priority areas, includes the implementation of three group voluntary activities at different periods, which are dedicated to
1. healthy nutrition by choosing the right macronutrients and preparing healthy and tasty meals
2. the integration of exercise into people’s daily lives through the use of infrastructures which are either nearby or provided free of charge by public authorities
3. the balance between nutrition, physical activity, personal and professional life through exercises to control stress and other
negative emotions generated by modern lifestyles as an essential element of well-being.
The activities include
- the design and preparation of workshops for the local population using non-formal education and learning methods in relation to the themes mentioned
- recording the actions and proposals of the participants in order to compile a toolbox that can be used by other stakeholders
- empowering participants to develop skills and interests within the learning process of the programme
Twenty volunteers participated in each activity for a period of 30 days per activity to allow sufficient time to achieve the objectives.
The three activities took place in Greece with the participation of partners from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Slovakia and Spain.
Our partnership has been tried and tested in previous years with the implementation of similar activities through the decentralised actions of the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+.
Well Done Well Being tookits are a compressed collection of all of the material, activities, recipes and practices that our volunteers – learned about, testes and implemented in real life, at the end leaving only the best and most useful information, at easy access for you – in 5 languages.
