It’s always nice to meet people that we already know but we can’t see them as often as we want… April 26-29 together with Dimitra we went to participate in the 3rd transnational meetings in the frame of KA2 project „STEP1 – The right step to be a volunteer”.

During the gathering all the partners presented what they had done during local interventions in their countries between the last meeting in Romania until now. Moreover we focused on preparation of the intelectual output and logistics of the upcoming blended mobility that is going to happen by the end of September in Amarante.

Our group was small and we were accommodated in a very cosy and beautiful villa near the town Alora. We were surrounded by palms, thousands of lemon and orange trees as well as white old houses with light brown rooftops – typical design for this region I guess but totally exotic for me. During the day we were accompanied by the group of local volunteers with special needs that work together with IMAGINA and it made the whole experience feel even more like home! The second day of the meeting we went for a breathtaking excusrion to Caminito del Rey, a place that any photo will reflect its beauty and feeling you have while being there!! Later, after the lunch we went to walk a bit and calm down our impressions in Alora where we visited the local church, the museum and the castle.

Well, there is still a lot of work to be done! See you in Amarante and Poland in November!
