Για αυτό ευχαριστώ πολύ το You In Europe

It was my first time that I participated in a training course and I am so happy for that! I travelled to Slovakia, in Banska Stiavnica, a small town in the mountains of this country that I ‘ve never visited before. We lived in an amazing building, that used to be a catholic school for a lot of years at the beginning of the 20th century. We stayed all there, 17 people from 7 different countries and shared our time, our experiencies, our thoughts, our ideas. We participated in several workshops organized by our trainers, and the last days we created and facilitated our own workshops and got the feedback from the whole group. I travelled back to Greece full with plenty of new reflections and conclusions, which i’m sure I can use and applicate to my daily life and work! Thank you “You in Europe”!

It was my first time that I have participated in a training course of ERASMUS +. The title of the project was “United through Education”, and I have had a real great time. The goals of that project t were to reach the awareness of youth workers about the specificity and complexity of the facilitation process during intercultural meetings and training. Strengthening the competences of youth workers in the context of planning and implementation of effective educational activities at the international level, expression of various dimensions of culture and how they are connected with intercultural learning, testing and quality evaluation of developed tools on various groups of excluded youth, and creation of a portfolio with a set of training methods and tools in an intercultural environment, with particular emphasis on including discriminated groups. During that training course, I had the opportunity to collaborate with individuals from different cultural backgrounds, something that strengthens my communications skills. It was a real valuable course since I have developed important skills relating the facilitating of workshops and training young people within multicultural environment. It was a real amazing week leaving, in a small village Banska Stiavnica, among the nature of Slovakia that otherwise I would not have the opportunity to visited it. I would like to thank the organization of You in Europe for supporting us and giving us the opportunity to gain with so much important experience. Thank you for chosen me.
