Convent Centre of Language & Art is looking for young people to take part in a long-term volunteering project in Amantea, Calabria, Italy.

The volunteers will have the opportunity to:

– Create and support linguistic tandems
– Organise workshops and small events for children, young people and adults
– Promote multilingualism linked to environmental protection
– Share their European experiences and promote Erasmus+ opportunities
– Support young people’s participation in European programmes
– Help with social media management and reporting
– Develop and implement their own personal project

At the same time, volunteers will experience intercultural learning and everyday life in a beautiful Mediterranean town in Southern Italy through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC).

📅 Duration: 8 months, starting in october / november

📍 Location: Amantea, Calabria, Italy

🏠 Accommodation:
Volunteers will stay at Casa Convent, an apartment located above the Convent Centre in the main square of Amantea, Piazza Cappuccini. Volunteers will have a furnished single room, with utilities covered.

💶 What is covered by the programme:
– €180/month pocket money
– €100/month for food expenses
– Travel reimbursement: €309 standard / €417 Green Travel
– Health insurance
– Accommodation and utilities
